One Day, When The World May Know

One Day, When The World May Know

A Poem by Brian M. Peeples

Imagine if we are all one,

with the same thoughts,

and the same ideas.

Imagine if we were all born

and taught to think different,

though we are entirely alike,

which is why we’re so torn.

Because we are at war with

each other, ourselves,

as we place our hearts

upon boarded up shelves.

And then someone else

may come across your heart,

and claim it as their own art"

in which this is how soulmates

find each other; love each other,

and come together as one.

Though, if we are the same,

all of us, everyone…

Then we are all soulmates,

merely human, yet  born free,

to roam the world’s endless seas.

The many worlds and realities,

though my home will always be here,

with all of you, every last one of you,

even whilst I’m wandering and lost,

there’s no other place to go,

and nothing more for me to do.

And if we are all of one,

I truly hope that one day

the world may finally know…

Powerful and worthwhile words my friend.
"Though, if we are the same,
all of us, everyone…
Then we are all soulmates,
merely human, yet born free,
to roam the world’s endless seas."
The above lines. My wish also. Thank you Brian for sharing the amazing poetry.
