Happy & Sad People

Happy & Sad People

A Poem by Brian M. Peeples

Happy people

make happy

faces,

and end up

in happy

places.

And sad people

end up in

sad places,

but make

happy faces,

too.

And it

doesn’t matter

who, but

a face

is a just

a face,

and that

is nothing

but true,

no matter

what anyone

may say.

So faces,

both happy

and sad,

are two

sides

of the same

coin,

and so I say

to smile,

friends,

whether happy,

or sad,

because sad

days are not

forever and

always.

Another fine write, Brian.

We all have our good and bad days. Especially the melancholic poet. Sometimes the clown face is the only face we can wear.
You are developing well in your writing. Keep them coming.
