A World Of Mice

I thought this would be a good laugh.

I find it funny,

that a bunny

can be so nice

in a world of mice

Seriously, though,

have you seen ‘em?

Everywhere you go,

there is no end!

Running around,

scurrying along

inside a town

chattering a song

Here and there,

everywhere,

upside down,

all over town!

Inside a box,

under some rocks

even in a house

Look, there’s a mouse!

Over there,

next to that hare,

he and his family,

they’re everywhere!

I find it funny,

in a world of mice.

I agree with the previous reviews. This is great for a child's book. The rhyme scheme bothered me a little though because it seemed to be all over the place; almost every stanza would have a different scheme. Overall, it is a good piece though and had a fun goofy feel to it. Thanks for sharing!

Well, mice are in quantity; like people. Rabbits are larger and different from the conforming mouse who is everywhere. Secretly, the hidden message is that the bunny represents the outcast, the one who does not conform to society, while the conforming mice is overpopulated. They're everywhere. "A single rabbit in a world of many mice." That is the message, practically. I used rabbits because they aren't like mice. They're different, and it makes sense that way. Thank you for the review!

This was a cute poem. (: I enjoyed it.

My only critique: Maybe switch out one of the "towns"; it felt too repetitive so close to each other.
