Who I Am

Where am I?

I have no idea

Who am I?

Shall I simply,

disappear?

It makes no sense

Nor should it

Because I’m alive

Not dead…

Or...am I?

I've lost myself

I have gone insane

At the merciless hands

Of such dire pain

Choking me,

Breaking me,

Can’t you see?

I, too, will bleed

A terrible terror

Not any fairer

Than you or me

Or what we see

But I know,

I know who I am

A lonely ghost

That takes the form

Of a lonely man

It’s who I am...
