A Christmas Toy StoryA Poem by Brian M. PeeplesA Christmas poem!Once upon a time When all seemed fine There was a Christmas toy Always spreading Christmas joy All around the world he would go Visiting all the children, giving them hope Letting them know Santa was on his way With his eight reindeer, and his sleigh! He was a chipper little toy Though he still had his own dream All he wanted for Christmas, you see Was to become a young boy With that boyish gleam But Santa did not give presents to his toys In fact, he would often give them away To all the children across the world Something he would do once a year On that one very special day But this year, Something had changed As the young toy Did not spread his joy He was angry with Santa For the very first time But who is to blame the little guy? All he wanted was to be alive As the big man in red Realized that without the little toy Christmas would be dead He decided to grant him his wish And turn him into a real boy And off the two would go All around the world, They were now on their way Bringing presents, To all the young boys and girls Before the end, Of that very special day
