A Lover's PoemA Poem by Brian M. PeeplesSentence cannot comprehend my love, my emotion, My thought towards what is sincere to my heart As nothing has grasped my attention so directly before That your elegant smile pierces my mind ten times over And settling your gaze upon mine, as if nothing else mattered Aspiring one day that we may see ourselves, hand in hand, Listening to the songbirds while I write to you a simple poem One of love, and of admiration for your sweet, sweet soul A poem to grasp your senses and arouse your deepest thoughts Forever it will say how much I adore your beautiful eyes Like diamonds they shine; as precious as two silver jewels Defining your beauty even further to its gracious extent For you are as delicate as a feather in the wandering winds As your voice sounds a melody of that which I have fallen for As kind and sensible as your grace has ever been so Will you follow me no matter where our two hearts shall go? © 2014 Brian M.
