The Wolf

The Wolf

A Poem by Shapeshifter

The Wolf comes tonight, cloaked in moonlight,
Eyes following my every move
Craving flesh from friend or foe,
Entranced, somehow connected in our coal bathed dance
Fibers spiked from the bone,
Tempting it is to kill this friend, this fiend
Skins cold caked, spitting icy atoms into space
First moves are dangerous, waiting he is
And waiting he shall stay, eachother we are
Eachother we shall stay

Intruders are a real fact of nature and of life. The metaphor in this particular one was to do with the halves of the soul at war, humanity and loss. The wolf is a noble creature that illustrates the line between human nature and the addictions that rule it

Good wording, but totally untrue.
Wolves are loyal and kind to one another(Except to trespassers).

About
I consider myself and old soul knowing things I can't yet explain. I take it slow and stare past the surface where all things are eventually revealed. I plan to use this new energy for good, (maybe).... more..
