Intriguing. I did not have you pegged for a Deist with a Taoist screen name, but the two are not inconsistent.
I like the passage:
"for even in
the bright Light
the world is adorned
in facades and falsity..."
What is up with all the posers? Why don't people say what the do and do what they say? Well said!
I like your insomnia poem. I had a good one of those about a month ago when I wrote an entire sonnet because I could not sleep. I just kind of came out in almost perfect rhyme and meter. Then, I could finally sleep! Perhaps, my sonnet put me to sleep!
Great poem, Tao, and I loved your tempo and beat on this. Really well put together. Do yo have time to explain to me how to get good Tarot readings? I am so interested in that and failing, I think. Any help? you still around at all?
Great message from someone who i assume is a spiritual person...which it is difficult in this day and age (with all the facades and falsity). Thank you for sharing.

When there are few or no man-made sounds/noises - ' the world is adorned / in facades and falsity...'
we hear our hearts and know that the Lord lies waiting for us to hear His words - ' that I may feel / the warmth of Your Truth ' - maybe that's why people suffer insomnia now and again.
This is a beautiful piece of writing, thank you for sharing it.
really nicely written beautifully inscripted testament to the divine will of thought and approach toward God and all that th heart has to offer. artfully composed.
"for even in
the bright Light
the world is adorned
in facades and falsity..." - I agree with Gabe that this is a well-expressed statement; in the context of your narrator's poetic plea, it's quite emotive and moving.
As an atheist, i found oit intriguing that lightning would be literally interpreted as a sign from God or similar - or have I been misled by the title, when the lightning in question is actually metaphorical?
