Terrified

The darkness creeps

in and it's

all we can do to

keep it at bay

We're all terrified of

what will happen

if we loose 

control of the

situation

That's why we have

special hospitals

with special 

people showing what 

exactly might happen

if that void 

that darkness 

slips into the cracks of

our hearts and

makes us change

We're all terrified of

what's inside 

what makes us 

unique and

different

Dystopian societies

try and make us all

clones

Robots with no

feelings

NO!

That is not us!

We are not the 

same!

You're scared

terrified that we're

all going to 

rebel!

The darkness could be

welcomed!

Turned to light!

But you think we cannot

protect ourselves!

The abyssal thought of

being left alone

is gone

Um...interesting way to break the sentences...
my suggestion is that you break the poem into several stanzas,
and you can change the color, size, of the words you want more emphasized
