Dark Side of the Dawn

Dark Side of the Dawn

A Poem by John B. Bolling

Solution devolution

Unstable institution

Sputtered and burned

Crashed and turned

Three hundred and sixty degrees

The direction remained the same

The damage not believed unless seen

Any description would be tame

Weary but never broken, time marches on

Light flickers on dark side of the dawn

I agree with Selene's review! Your rhyme interplay is excellent, and you certainly deliver a most touching message! May we all have the capacity to see the light flickering on the dark side of the dawn! Your final line is a most memorable one...may time march on without hesitation in its line!!
