Static Truth

Static Truth

A Poem by John B. Bolling
"

04/12/10

"

Bore witness to the listless

Incensed by their dilemma

Utter disdain for wishes

Yearning for hope eternal

In search of optimism

Promise on the horizon

But like light through a prism

The message is encrypted

Distant radio tower confused

Its signals are distorted

Reveal onto us static truths

Lost in a barrage of noise
