A Poem by Brent
"

A poem about the struggle for acceptance by society and by oneself. Inspired by the Berlin Wall Reconciliation Statue.

"
Best to be forewarned of trouble.
Mighty men, like lava, bubble.

Far cry, star cry,
once ignored.
Cry for battle,
now implored.

Those who think
and
those who struggle
find themselves
within a bubble
holding on to one another,
to one, a man,
the other, a brother.

I often think of the world in bubbles and how one bubble can be invaded by another,
we are individual, yet we also have interactions
and these aren't always what we want or need because our society may not be the way we thought or wanted. Family is what we seek and need often.
Your writing speaks about the struggles and being brothers. Battles are not easy at all.

Yes thank you too. It's really great poem. Have nice day.
Acceptance is one of the greatest trait that a person can have. But it is nice to have a poem like this to open the mind set of each readers and even to those who are still struggling to find themselves.

This is an iconic piece portraying struggle for acceptance. Often, it's not easy to reconcile with people because we are all unique.a historic reference is given here to "Berlin Wall statue". After a bit of research, I found out that stalin was an elected secretary and his statue was removed by the Soviet forces. Here, again unacceptance is showcased.
the picture speaks the essence of this poem.
I like the use of "bubble" which denotes a very deep and intense reference and it is used in two contexts. Your poem speaks it all!
"holding on to one another,
to one, a man,
the other, a brother."
Excellent poetry.

The melodic meter of your words beckon as if to have people make what they can of the poem's meaning. Surely without trials and struggles, we'd never discover our strengths or weaknesses?
