Falter

Falter

A Poem by Eccentric
"

Oh, you . . .

"

Wings trapped on barbed wire
Fluttering faintly
Halfway to breaking
Bruised and bleeding
He lies there
Blinking up into the clouds
And wonders
Where he went wrong.

Absolutely electric in its simplicity. Short but unbelievably complex, this poem could be a metaphor for many things. Well done!
