Drink.

Drink.

A Poem by Eccentric
"

...

"

How many more days
Before your throat stops bleeding
From the indignity of it all?

You stare rim-razed at the sink
oh where did it go wrong
You're not sure, you never were
was it all my fault?

It's a slow fade
A kind of darkening
are your eyes the only thing i will see?
The bottle, tossed carelessly
Shatters into shards of memories
it didn't hurt it couldn't hurt i'm so tired

Shut your eyes, drift away
Shut your eyes, drift away
Shut your eyes...

How many days
Until you find yourself again
Under the sad, broken child?
It's slowly drowning you,
Look up before it's too late.
It's too late.
