Soft Ending

Soft Ending

A Poem by Eccentric
"

Your obsession.

"

Who will love me forever and ever?
Who will whisper goodbye
As they smother me with their love?
The sheets twisting around us,
Your shallow breath as you
Inch the pillow over my mouth and nose
Pressing down gently
Until all I see is blackness.

Whoa! The perfect love gone wrong. This, like many of your other works could be taken simply or...could it be a metaphor for lost love? This is another intelligent and thoughtful write. Well done.

I love this write. So much is said in such short lines. Those always seem to be the best works.

WOW this said volums.. I was into this and saw the images of one with such a deep obsession that they wanted the person all for themselves. That's my intake on it. Hope I am at least close..

Great write.
