What is there in the doing?

What is there in the doing?

A Poem by Eccentric
"

...

"

Is it really "never too late"?
Is there really a second chance
for people like us?
The broken, the homeless,
the forgotten?

What have you
What have you
What have you done now?

We gather at the edges,
on bridges, on rooftops
in the lonely
in the broken hearts
Waiting for someone, anyone
silently taking out our weapons,
the knives, the nooses, the fishline
the pills, the pain, the guns
Prepare to leap
leap into the unknown

Day is breaking,
night is falling
Each to his own
cynical smiles for those
Of us
and ourselves...

God, tell me...
What have You done?
