This Fog

This Fog

A Poem by Latifa
"

it's been such a while since I wrote anything, I leave you with this simple piece that reflects my current feelings.

"
 This FOG  is sneaky.
 this FOG is audacious.
He doesn't ask your permission
to hug you.
Wrapping his infinite hands around you;
knowing that his hugs are suffocating;
He conquers your perimeter,

HE DOESNT STOP.

He blinds you,
leaving you with one image:
an avaricious image.
An image that holds no pixels
to define it.
 I stand alone but to salute him
for his entrance
that needed no drum rolls.
Clapping with my hands
that he took hostage.
I wish clarity was that courageous.

interesting...the idea of clarity being as exciting and interesting as the Fog...the blurry lines...

very cool piece of writing...and on a personal level...i like the idea of the humanistic aspect...some people are really hard to read, to understand---they are deceitful...and we would rather have truth and clarity from them.

Wow you have given a new perspective to things bleak. There are things which completely catch us off guard and blindfold us. It's only when the fog is lifted and we come to see things for what they are. I don't know, may be you are talking about illusions. Call them fog,if you like:)

Enigmatic, leaving me to ponder on the maze that is the fog's state of being.

I love this...atmospheric and places the reader in a cloaked land of mystery...tangible and captivating...such things make you realise how small we really are...nature has it's own agenda and answers to no-one...

I felt helpless too. Nicely written.

Felt so lost as I read this. A bit of helplessness thrown about as well.
The imagery is especially powerful.
