Its hard to be a genius Latifah - (just kidding) but Im sure having a sense of humour helps.
You display yours wonderfully here.
Thank you for sharing this.

This poem made me think of how the past can be seen as a dead thing and how the passage of time is relative to our perspective. In our rush to get to the finish line, whatever our ultimate goal may be in life we can shorten our life span and have so much time go by without enjoying it or experiencing it by marrying the present with the future. I could probably write a book about all of my thoughts, but instead I will use this piece as a reminder to take a lot of thought and decide how I want to live and decide what things are truly important to me. How we use our time truly seems to affect how we live and even age. Thank you for this inspirational work.
A playful poem with thoughts
Unification, confusion and stillness really are striking in this piece
Almost as if all three are connected in someway or another
Relativity takes us to that still small voice in our head, aging and the passing seconds whisk away our life but inside the silence of the mind, the eye, the heart resides the one that watches all pass away and knows no time, just bliss, Einstein knew more than we are told, thank you Latifa for your poem, even if i got it all wrong it gave me a chance to think and be philosophical i hope, when we read each others work and gain such thinking from it that's a great compliment to the author, so Bravo to you :)
Lovely :) I like the threads woven here, those strides can indeed become tiring after a while when misunderstood, guess we have to be ourselves and keep walking, even if slower :)
