Not any cup of tea

Not any cup of tea

A Poem by Latifa
"

I hope you like it

"

jarring noises of the fools

divert my eyes toward the skies

oh please, hand me the climbing ladders

I want to sip a cup of tea

with the stars

where silence is the violinist

and the flashing lights

are the graceful dancers

no past, no future, no present

break the clayey shackles

and listen to the hypnotic violinist

It sounds like a wonderful place to be - for a cup of tea or otherwise! The stars would add such divine sparkle to the entire hypnotic event!

The fools have no ground to stand on when they don't have a star to stand on. Beautiful job!!

A star of poetry sipping tea with the celestial ones. What is keeping us from rising up are those shackles, the naysayers, the fools and the clutter of life. Nothing like being with the violinists, dancers who appreciate life to the fullest and rise above the mundane. Excellent...:).........................
