The bullets of disappointment

The bullets of disappointment

A Poem by Latifa
"

disappointment is very difficult thing to deal with, specially from someone so close to you.

"
silent bullets,heavy missiles
the cannonballs of disappointment are flying
colliding with dreary stares, grieving eyes
and silence is the veil

acknowledged with the bitter truth
the rims if collapsing are approaching
and the deceptive remedies won't suffice
the may be, the what if
all wronged the heart with delirious faith

what seemed to be titanium chains
are nothing but shamming glass
that wronged the heart with delirious faith
yet we all knew it
but the lips won't utter it
 suffocated chords of courage won't
utter the bitter truth and  uncover the veil of silence

No one wants to talk about the elephant in the room even when its presence is suffocating all those present. The intensity of emotion in this one is great. Silence is sometimes worse than hearing the truth. I liked this write. Lydi**

Whoa. This was explosive with emotions and acknowledged truth. The dissapointment is flying like bullets. The collapsing is approaching. Courage is being assasinated too...Excellent...:)...................
