The despair labyrinth

The despair labyrinth

A Poem by Latifa
"

sometimes reaching the rock bottom is dangerous and could lead us to reckless decisions

"
Tumble upon my serene spirit
And cross to the wretched stroll
Held hostage in the confined towers of suspicions
Hemmed in the circles of loathing
Sanity drifted from my being
And the sullen savagery settled in my hours
With no cane of help I am crippled
Equipped with tools of ruin
And sealed with doom

Powerful imagery in this one, Latifa. I fear that hatred has taken control of your speaker's soul and will ruin her unless she learns to love. Very well written.

Very nice poet. I agree with your description....but to add to that, sometimes it takes hitting rock bottom to find our way back up!

My favorite poetry li e ever is apt here I think... 'We are the music makers, and we are the dreamers of dreams'

With no cane of help I am crippled

Some powerful stuff.

I like your work, perhaps ( my idea ) it might be worth trying to reduce the adjectives and use a central, personal image to transport your ideas..
