Crumbled bread i follow To the scattered signs The hidden bushes are blazing No longer able to survive Concealed mystic longing is sitting around The haunted voices are sneaking Deeper with marching armies And the sentinels are petrified Phantom of desires and lust is dragging the sturdy spirit The mountains are falling And the skies strongly collide The alibis are choking And the doors are slamming to the lies
I really enjoyed this... You've got such a beautiful flow and your imagery is powerful... I love the way you described the chaos of the mind and how inherently dangerous it can often be, how it can lead us astray... Such an accurate representation of how we can end up being our own worst enemy but we only realise too late.. Loved it, great work.
Latifa, I have just read a few of your poems, you certainly have a way with words. I never profess to being a poet, I only dabble when the mood takes so I never feel qualified enough to comment . You certainly have a unique style making the reader think carefully about what is hidden in each piece of your work. If thats what you have set out to do then you have succeeded.
Nice Work.

Sounds like the whole world is tumbling down on top of you, Latifa. Has a tragedy just occurred? Your images are striking and vital. Lots of dreaming room in this one.
Wow, now here's such a lot within this poem. It's deep and very thought provoking. Those inner demons grab us in so many different way.
Love the imagery and strength of this
