justice

justice

A Poem by Latifa
"

this poem is about justice that became so hidden and burried this days

"
Crawling through the dungeons of wickedness
Searching for the shimmering light of the soul
For consciousness is not awakened
Life  can't carry on
Bleeding through the spirit
Whose spirit , what spirit
Spirit of the abducted beings
The follish ones who are hypnotized
Buried under the slithering lies
 Justice is a drifting ghost
Slain , maimed and laid  under the deadly knives

justice is for the few and few are for justice

In our imperfect system, truth would sometimes yield to the power of gold and i could not help but think that justice is nothing but a theory.

"Justice is a drifting ghost
Slain , maimed and laid under the deadly knives" -- you penned it so well.

Such powerful words. Well penned.

Hard to see the system of fairness working today. Justice seem far away and hard to find. Last lines were my favorite. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

Justice is, and always has been, nothing more than a concept. Here, however, you have shown its under belly and revealed its face as we know it today. An excellent work.

Justice has become just a word...the concept has been twisdted and choked down through the years.

thank you for the read
Great idea, a difficult one, how do you define justice ? Is it the same as the legal procedure ?
Good thoughts..

Oh, what a sad comment on our society...on our world...
Justice is a very elusive thing...we tend to see justice from our own point of view, don't we? But is justice always what we think it is?
I was once being interviewed for a job as court clerk for a judge in Arizona. As I sat, waiting for her to call me into her office, I overheard some talk about a man she had recently sentenced. He had "stolen" some old bread and donuts from a dumpster behind a bakery...he had been "laid off"...and he had hungry kids at home.
Where was "justice" here? Was the bakery hurt by his actions? Should he have served jail time for what he did?
Where was justice for his family?

I got up and walked out of there...I just didn't think I wanted that job after all....

This piece is very, very strong, Latifa--it's message and its construction. And yes, justice is often very elusive.
