Kiss the RainA Poem by Brianna WoodwardWhen she was with him it was like rainfall; a time when the world seemed to stop, a time when she felt beautiful. He was thunder; loud and threatening at first glance, but comforting in a way no one understands. She guessed she was lightening; lighting up the world only in flashes, hiding herself just as quick as she had appeared. But just like thunder, he was always close behind her, waiting to help her shine again. In a world of storms he was her rain shower; peaceful and wonderful, seeming all her own. And as the tumult rumbled on and on, she finally had the courage to kiss the rain. © 2012 Brianna WoodwardReviews
