Lost

Lost

A Poem by Breed

Afloat in the body of an endless sea
Drenched suffocating as the shores no sight to me
Fight to be loved
Loving to fight
The night holds me tight when I struggle for light
Blood in the eyes of a sun that cries
The moons pitch black and it won't go back
A soul not understood
The universe inside me
Detached furthermore couldn't figure the moor
The coldest dirt
The oldest hurt
Stuck in the words couldn't figure it out
Im so lost

It seems that you've attempted to make this poem rhyme. In my opinion, rhyming works best when the lines are of approximately the same length. Otherwise, the poem is well written. Good use of imagery. Also, I would change Im (in the last line) to I'm, but that's your call. Keep up the good work!
