Society and the "Norm"

how I see society and what I think of it

Trying is hard, I know
But being strong is the only way
Don't let society break you
Don't let society tell you different

Society is cruel its how it works
I hate it too, you're not the only one
I hate how society only accepts the "norm"
But I ask myself over and over, "what is normal?"

I don't know how to define normal
Nor do I try to do so
It's impossible, a stupid thing to do
Because each one of us is different

Everyone is unique in their own way
For me I'm talented in many different things
People get jealous of my capabilities
Because they can't see how beautiful they are inside

It's hard to see the good in yourself
Especially when all people do is see the bad
Don't listen to them they like to see you fail
Because all they see in the mirror lacks success

Believe in yourself
That's all I ask
Please love yourself
For that's the best
