Jealousy Gets the Best of Me

Jealousy Gets the Best of Me

A Poem by Suzy Q

It seems the only emotion I have is jealousy,

Isn't there some kind of irony

To that? I mean, you must have to love

To feel some form of jealousy.

Right?

Sometimes I think I have no heart

What the hell's a feeling?

I wonder why I say I care,

When, somewhere, in the black hole that is me

I know I don't.

I tend to see things as reality

And not those fake dreams people

Seem to have.

I sit

I ponder

And I come to the conclusion

That I must have emotions,

For I am human, and I can think

And scientifically speaking, our emotions are in our

Minds, as is pain.

Am I really just being an ignorant teenager,

Or is there really something more in between?

I like this. I know your not a black hole. You did a good job of getting your thoughts down though.

Jealousy can be a bad demon to hold on to. Hard to be positive when afraid of losing someone when you should be celebrating happiness. Hard to do. But it is necessary. Need to trust the people you care for or you will scare them away. Thank you for a excellent poem. A interesting topic.
