Making Me Stronger

Making Me Stronger

A Poem by Suzy Q
"

I was heart broken recently, but I think I'm learning to move past it.

"

They say love is a game, yet I play it

Thinking I'm too young to be feeling this

My emotions are here, there, let them sit

On the emotion I want, which is bliss

I think I should have run from here

It's a scary feeling of being used

Yet I still hold on to memories near

It feels like I've had no chance to pursue

My dreams of chaos and greatness and love

They all ceased once you walked into my life

Providing my love nerve that extra shove

I dislike dealing with internal strife

I play this game because you broke my heart

Yet it's time for emotions to part.

When love is a game. It isn't love. It is only hunger and desire to use and abuse then run away. When love is true. It is a permanent mark on heart and mind. A strong poem. Life and love pain will teach us to be wiser. Real love will make you crazy and only content in the vision of the one you love. A excellent poem.

Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy books and that's kind of the same thing. Always felt I'd find the meaning on paper, don't think I've found myself yet, yet happiness is right where it is.. more..
