I make the monsters hide

I remember the day 

i would hide away

because the monsters at night

would grab a hold tight

I remember the day 

i ran away

because the monsters

ruled the night

Then one day 

i stood up to say

what the monsters

wouldn't dare fight

I told them the way

they scared my life away

and then the monsters

saw the bright light

I was simply a child

who fought for a while

and the monsters 

where the people 

who told me 

i was nothing

I was a small child

who fought for the light

and the monsters were people

who couldn't see right

but thats okay

because i scared the monsters away
