When you're gone

When you're gone

A Poem by Breanna Riddle

when you're gone
i'll still tarry on
on the road
and even through the snow

when you're gone
i'll wait along
for you to come home
so that i am no longer alone

when you're gone
my heart will break
as a bubble would burst
if it were suddenly stroked by a snakes fangs

when you're gone
i will be to
for it would be too hard
to live without you in my life
