is like walking on eggshells
I must be wary of my words
and actions as well
you snap at a different opinion
you think you’re mature
and hold your head higher than the clouds

you are not an adult you are still a child

but you can’t just leave for 30 days
with your pursed lips and raised brow
and then come back to me
I will not wait for you
I will not be here
go back 
to holding your head higher
than your neck can stretch
reality must sink in
you cannot leave
and expect people to still be at the door
