and you couldn’t even realize it 


I want to be mad at you 


but I can’t forget when you told me 

that I needed to open my eyes and realize 
 the world doesn’t revolve around me. 


those words are permanently burned 
onto the back of my mind. 


I can’t even ask for your attention without 
being made to feel that I’m a bother. 
 

you make me feel so insignificant at times 

and I’m left wondering 
if your words actually have any meaning 


you’ll go on with your life happy as can be and I


 I’ll just be here for when you get back. 


so keep to yourself because everything becomes more important when you have them around you
 

but I can’t blame

I’m too sad for you
 

so continue to make everyone else a priority
 

because in the end I just feel the most when you leave me behind 
 

and your words are slowly losing their meaning
 

cause you can never support them with actions.
