saying you love someone means you accept them for who they are

so when you tell me thing after thing of stud you don’t like me doing or that I need to change

clearly you don’t love me.

you don’t love who I am.

you’re in love with the idea of what you can make me to be.

if I’m such an embarrassment to you and you want to change so much about me

then don’t bother saying those 3 words to me and spewing false hope throughout my mind

cause if you really loved me the way you claim you do

you wouldn’t call me those hurtful things,

and try to change every presence of my being

so don’t say I love you to me

cause I’m not gonna stick around if you don’t mean it.
