A Grocery List For The Week

This week, 

I must remember

these simple, but necessary 

items

For if I forget, 

there will be much regret

and so much sorrow in my soul.

Shampoo and conditioner, 

could there be a more perfect pair?

Than one that cleanses

and one that nourishes

and satisfies your soul?

Then, next on the list, 

is the most one yet...

Hair removal cream

that will not irritate your skin

but instead, promises to be gentle

And that promise is convincing,

if It wasn't for me guessing

that the baby on the bottle

didn't think so.

And then to my relief, 

I approach my favorite aisle, 

the one with all my hearts desires

My face begins to beam

because all I can see

is products full of sucrose

that the dentist will be glad to see

because that is simply

another day in the office,

and three hundred dollars in hos pocket

while his secretary pretends it wasn't so. 

So now, you can see,

why I fret so constantly, 

because without these little things, 

my mind would begin to freeze

from the many vacant halls

which have been abandoned 

for years unknown.
