A Poem by breakthebrokenone

I always loved taking photos
from the trees in the fog invested park
to the river that runs between the road and the grass
of the public park where you can see
the children running,
playing,
so carefree and innocent
with no worries or shame.
I love taking photos
of you and me
capturing the happiness between
the fault lines
of when we collide
and make something beautiful.

Sounds on the surface like the recollection of a beautiful romance. That said, I wonder if the carefree picture of the children is a contrast to the speaker's life. Also, I wonder what is meant by the fault lines. Not trying to read in something that is not there, but I like to explore all levels of a poem.
