Thinking Of You

Thinking Of You

A Poem by breakthebrokenone

I look at the grass
and I think of you
of how you used to
cut the lawn every week
without fail.

I see the flowers
growing in the parks
and I think of how
you used to pick me
the brightest ones
with delicate petals.

I look up to the sky
because I know you are above
watching me and loving me
taking care of all the worries
like you did when you were here.

All the things I see
riddle me with pain
and bring back memories
of times that have passed
and I miss you
with each and every day.
