Bay

Bay

A Poem by breakthebrokenone
"

Another poem from my series where a word has been given to me from a person and a poem has been created. The word was Bay

"
Deck of cards
laying on the table
Cocktails in the sun
Memories made
etched into our mind
of the sun shining
onto white sand beaches
Desolate except for us.

Bay of dreams
With the sun setting
behind hillside plains
Sunhat and Swimsuit
mother and daughter
sharing a bond in the bay.

Wrapped in pink covers
as the sun rises on her delicate face
Father holds her in his arms
protecting and caring
sharing a silent moment
and love set to grow.
