Fester

Fester

A Poem by breakthebrokenone

Festering like a wound
I lay here
unattended
uncared for
slowly giving up
slowly giving in
I cannot see the light
the darkness enveloping me
providing a shade that I
relinquish into
and hide my emotions
behind a smile
that no one can tell is fake.
