A Poem by breakthebrokenone

Eyes are opened
wider than before
with a view that is translucent
to what I had seen before.

This view can be scary
and at times I wish I were blind
because from here the lights are so bright
once before they were dim
and my prospects were not as advanced
as they seem to be now.

The view is ever changing
and I sometimes feel like I have
entered a new land
where I am foreign to the policy
of keeping quiet and keeping
this view to myself.
