A New Years Kiss

A New Years Kiss

A Poem by breakthebrokenone

My New Year of Two Thousand and Nine-teen
began with a kiss
so gentle and sweet
that the touch of his lips
filled my body with a spark
and a pureness that had been so foreign
and never had on a New Years before.

He kissed me softly
and his hand ran down my back
embracing me and making me feel
complete and more at home than my
lost and broken soul had ever been before'
because for once I was going into a year
in the perfect environment where I could
blossom under your tentative hand.

My year has begun in the most
purest form
where there is happiness and
growth and a community of support
and He provides me with that
and I can only be sure that
Heaven is a place on Earth with Him..
