A Letter For Girls

A Letter For Girls

A Poem by breakthebrokenone
"

A letter styled poem on what I wish I had have been told as a young girl.

"
Girl,
remember that your beauty extends beyond
how you choose to style your hair
or what colour lipstick
you apply to plump lips.

Girl,
don't fall for what those boys say,
your intelligence will define you
more than looks ever could.

Girl,
do not go with the common nature of
superficiality
because one day those looks will fade
and you will see that beauty is from
within.

Great logic in the poem. We must love the inside of the person. A lifetime, two people will change and true love is always the same. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.
