Voices

Voices

A Poem by breakthebrokenone

These voices
Are so loud
The pounding
Won't cease

I'm going under
And giving in
I'm sorry that I
Let you down

But the couches
Keep reminding me
If the wrong I did
And I can't escape

I'm going deeper
And into the void
That swallows me whole
But doesn't spit me out

So I give into them
Because it's what I deserve
There's no more use in
Apologising

The voices never listen.
