Hospital.

Hospital.

A Poem by breakthebrokenone

They load you up with morphine
To take your pain away
To take away the feelings
Of a once happier day.

They tell you that it'll numb you
As it runs through a maze of veins
But as soon as it hits you
You begin to see clearly again.

They won't give you a big dose
Just enough to ease the pain
They don't want to make you addicted
Just enough to leave you in peace.

The morphine takes its course
Until it hits the heart
And makes it palpitate
Taking you to the edge of life

Leaving you in a rush.
