Behind these eyes there lingers
So much love
So much longing
And so much hope

For a better life
For a fresh beginning

Words cannot describe the radiance of this poem - it's fantastic! And it has potential of being relatable to many an artist in the world. My only suggestion is to say "these" eyes instead of "my" (gives it more power and a sort of je ne sais quoi that really makes the poem more profound, and also makes the "I" in the last line more powerful. Well done!
