Heavy metal lions

Heavy metal lions

A Poem by breakthebrokenone

We are heavy metal lions
But I fall to pieces when I'm with you
They will never understand
Even our rock n roll guardians
Can't interpret who we are
Or what we feel
Nor can they decide
What is right and what is wrong.

We are the lions which guard the gates
The gates which allow us to enter the shrines of our idols
But we don't worship false idols anymore

I once did when I was younger and afraid of what others would think
But now I am a lion
And fear bows down to me
