InkA Poem by breakthebrokenone
The same ink that I use to write
Is spread over my body. The needle hits the skin penetrating deep into my pale white flesh tearing through to make articulate lines over my body. The vibration is soothing and puts me to ease the smell of ink and disinfectant calms me. The needle doesn't hurt It creates the art that I long for to decorate my body. Society thinks of me as a delinquent as a nobody as a hopeless case. But my tattoos reflect things that I love. A bird on my left forearm for the death of my Nana. Leonard Cohens Order Of The Unified Hearts to show that we are all connected in love. Body Electric in an electric blue heart to show my love for Lana Del Rey. A lotus on my sternum to show the renewal of life and the peaceful tranquility of a flower who sits calmly on the water. And even if they had no meaning I wouldn't provide justification
