breathe.

breathe.

A Poem by breakthebrokenone

My lungs burn.
I inhale desire
Everything that I wanted to become
Has disappeared.

I was a beautiful person
Until I breathed.
Breathe in
until my lungs burn.

I drown in a pool of despair.
i wanted to be more
To be a woman of power
a woman of wealth.

I am a breathe
of fire and accelerants
not of clean air
I burn.

My lungs burn
every time I breathe.
So  I hold my breath
and suppress.

It has emotion I can surely feel how that person feels but the way the words are written doesn't let the poem flow. As I read it, I see some repetition going on. But other than that it was a beautiful poem :)
