breathe.A Poem by breakthebrokenone
My lungs burn.
I inhale desire Everything that I wanted to become Has disappeared. I was a beautiful person Until I breathed. Breathe in until my lungs burn. I drown in a pool of despair. i wanted to be more To be a woman of power a woman of wealth. I am a breathe of fire and accelerants not of clean air I burn. My lungs burn every time I breathe. So I hold my breath and suppress.
