Numb

Numb

A Poem by breakthebrokenone

I'm numb.
I'd like to be able to lie
And say that the touch of your hand
provides much needed comfort.

But I cannot feel it.

Nor can I comprehend
why you are here.
Last time we spoke
you begged me to go.

And now you're here.

The frostbite never worked..
Only made me warmer

What a shame...          It never worked.

Naturally, as most poems I read are very deep. Particularly this one. It speaks.
