Stars.

Stars.

A Poem by Julia

There’s a star right there to the left

That I wish on every night.

Its shine resembles your face.

And my love is blinding at the sight.

I wish for it to brink you back.

Because when you were here, I was okay.

I hear that if you keep wishing, it’ll happen.

I don’t understand this delay.

Is it asking too much?

To be able to love you so?

I don’t understand what I did wrong,

That made you want to quickly go.

And now this heart in my chest,

Whispers only for you.

It’s tiny voice travels out to the sky.

And hopes the bright angel will carry through.

The floating little orb, will know just how.

To bring you back into my walls.

Because, without you, there is no foundation.

Without that, they all just fall.

So, please, Little Star Angel,

Hear my plea.

Can you do me that one favor?

And bring my darling back to me?

Sad but well written one. It shows the love, passion and the desperation. Nice write.

A tale of the heart wish. Very nicely done. It carries the gentle sway of emotional need as well as that sweet and sorrowful longing that we all feel, when our heartspark has drifted to other places.

Great ink!

Yes we need to wish upon a star to keep the hope alive. A excellent poem. I like the gentle and kind words of emotion. Sometime we are lucky and find the same road again as missed friends. Thank you the beautiful poem.
