Sinning Desires

Sinning Desires

A Poem by Julia

Cut my heart out
Rip me open
Do anything
Because I feel nothing

Love has left me
In a daze
And I cannot see
Through this haze

“How will I ever
Get out of this labyrinth?”
I’ve been running for years
But I’ve been stuck since

The day you left
Was the end of my warmth
I am alone now.
Solo in this storm.

I am numb
And I cannot feel
I cannot love
I cannot heal

Save me please
From this emptiness
You left me broken
With such abruptness

You ripped my heart open
I am left here for dead
Someone sew me back together
Before my ashes are spread

I want to feel
To love again
That’s all I want
Is that such a sin?
